How to use two routers in the same WiFi network and what advantages it has

Although many people are satisfied with a single router, this can be a problem if your house is large or if there are many walls that separate your office from the living room. How can we use two routers in the same house?

The router is a device that connects to the network through a response obtained from the Internet. There are many other functions of a router in a connection that are less obvious and go in the background, but this is its main function and the purpose of its name. A router usually handles DHCP.

Other network devices, such as laptops, printers, tablets, and smart TVs, rely on the network device to configure their network settings when they start up. (here the best routers of the year)

The router can safely serve as an access point if the proper security settings have been established. Today, the real power of a firewall is not in your operating system, but in your router.

By acting as a four-port switch for wired devices, routers can effectively double the range of phones that can connect to your network.

As a result of these changes, the network covers more ground, is more reliable, and is more scalable . Is there any way to ensure that the two routers we just bought help improve our network?

A network can become congested if it has many routers. If you envision a single router as being in control, any functionality that connects to the outside world must go through that router.

That is, your routers must be configured similarly and differently depending on the router that serves as the point of contact between your network and the outside world.

Are there any features you don't want duplicated? You need to keep an eye on the routers' channels, their DHCP settings, and their WLAN port connections vs. LAN (how routers connect to the outside world). Also, you need to double check the DHCP settings and the channels of the routers.

There can only be one home network. You must disable the DHCP server capabilities of the second router to avoid IP address conflicts. Otherwise, devices on your network could receive their IP addresses from a router that doesn't communicate with the outside world, or the main router might not be aware of the device.

If you have two routers close by, this is extremely critical: don't use the same channel for your routers. Interference and decreased WiFi performance will occur due to channel duplication.

Is there a way to configure all routers the same way? Your routers should have the same SSID, identical security and encryption techniques (WPA2) and the same importance in most cases. With all this, your house will have more WiFi coverage than ever.
