Google Chrome will allow you to add annotations to your passwords

An upcoming Google Chrome update will offer the option to add annotations to all the passwords that we have stored with the password manager offered by the browser itself, a resource that can be useful to users at many times.

Annotations offer useful information to the user about a specific key, for example, some type of clue or information that helps to remember that password, or it can also be data that tells us when it was created, when it was last modified, etc.

In any case, it is a useful detail that has recently been seen in a test version of Chrome, which means that the developers are testing the functionality and it will surely arrive to all Chrome users in some new update later.

Specifically, it will be a "note" field that will be inside the password editor, that is, when you need to modify a password you will find this new field that you can fill in to your liking, since it seems that it will allow you to write quite a few words depending on the size of the field.

You can write whatever you want, some options are those that we discussed in previous paragraphs, you could even not fill in anything and leave it blank, which will be the option that all Chrome passwords will have once this novelty is deployed.

It seems that Google Chrome is realizing that its password manager, which many people use for the comfort it offers them, is a very attractive browser utility and that it needs improvements of this type so that it becomes more advanced and complete.

Apart from this future novelty, another functionality related to passwords is also being worked on, it will be a procedure through which the user will be able to store passwords in the browser manually without carrying out the current automatic process.

The possibility of adding annotations to passwords is an option that many other key managers already have, the one that integrates Google Chrome will be the next. At the moment there is no release date, but it should not take long to appear and it is convenient to update Chrome to see if the option begins to be displayed.
